Valley View Nurseries is owned and operated by Jake Coffey, a third generation nurseryman preceded in the nursery industry by his grandfather Boyd Coffey and father Roger Coffey, both successful, established nurserymen. Having spent the majority of his youth working the tree fields, grading, and loading trucks. Jake is now applying a lifetime of intimate knowledge of farming and selection methods passed down from previous generations to his own business.
Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountians, we are North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services certified family nursery with a passion to grow the finest nursery stock available.
Our nursery produces a wide variety of evergreen trees, flowering and fruit bearing trees, shrubbery, and many other plant species native to the Blue Ridge/ Smokey Mountain region. The quality is impeccable with healthy, well established root systems. Having over 700 acres in cultivation, the Coffey family has been top competetors the nursery industry for over 50 years. With knowledge passed down from generation to generation,our customers can rest assured in knowing that the quality of the stock we offer sets the standard for our competition.
